My creative mainstay band-wise has always been WIZARDS OF TWIDDLY
, with whom I’ve written with, played live with, recorded with, toured with internationally (notably on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury 1993) and fallen over with since 1988! A crop of albums being the result. Notwithstanding, the legendary KEVIN AYERS managed to kidnap us for 18 months of international touring and recording, Two BBC Radio 1 Sessions on the ‘Mark Radcliffe Show’ in 1995, and a resulting live album.

I’ve been an active member of ‘DEAD BELGIAN’ since its inception in 2007.
Critically acclaimed, we perform and tour unique interpretations of the music of the seminal song-writer and poet, Jacques Brel.

EAR BEAK
A project that I have been working on since 2021.
Currently, the line-up consists of Simon James on Saxes and synth effects(Soma Pipe and pedals) and
Rense Slings- a wonderful Dutch guitarist and composer, from Arnhem. We intend to release more output later in 2023
